‘The Irish Language Today and Yesterday’

There will be a series of talks held again this year in the Public Records Office of Northern Ireland in Belfast starting on the 13th September. This year’s theme is ‘The Irish Language Today and Yesterday’.

 

27th September‘Music and the Irish language’ by Fergus Ó hÍr (in English)

4th  October‘Irish-Medium Education’ by Diarmaid Ua Bruadair (in English)

11th  October‘Irish-Language Media’ by Tomaí Ó Conghaile (in English)

18th  October                      ‘Developing an Irish-Language Community’ by Niall Ó Cathain (in English)

 

Talks will begin at 1 p.m.
