Foras na Gaeilge is providing funding for suitable youth event programs of twelve sessions through Irish for young people between the ages of three and eighteen outside the Gaeltacht:

• which aim to strengthen the Irish language through a combination of events;
• are not residential events;
• which will run from 31 August 2021 to 30 June 2022;
• they are not one-day festivals, competitions, or events.

Grants are awarded in public funds, and Foras na Gaeilge has statutory obligations to ensure value for money in all funded projects.

Foras na Gaeilge encourages applicants to seek co-funding for projects, where appropriate, and to cooperate with other organizations to obtain the best value from a Foras na Gaeilge grant.

We particularly welcome applications from organizations located in areas identified in government strategies or legislation.
