Updates from Foras na Gaeilge in relation to Coronavirus (Covid-19)

It is a priority for Foras na Gaeilge to ensure that appropriate steps have been taken to protect staff members and the public from Covid-19. Foras na Gaeilge is following the latest guidance from both jurisdictions north and south and we are continuously monitoring events and the implications for Foras na Gaeilge business.

Foras na Gaeilge will follow best practice and guidance from the health departments if new information arises.

Up to now Foras na Gaeilge has taken the following steps to tackle Covid-19.

  • All applications for our funding scheme should be sent by email. All information is available here.
  • Policy implemented regarding Foras na Gaeilge employees working remotely 
  • Utilising video coferencing equipment to organise meetings 

The offices of Foras na Gaeilge are open in a very restricted capacity; we will be guided by the latest public health advice in this area. You can contact members of staff regarding schemes, grants, resources or events organised online, or in compliance with instructions from the government, at the email addresses and phone numbers listed below. The organisation’s staff are available to the public if support is sought. 

Any changes to Foras na Gaeilge's work and continuity arrangements will be announced here should they change in future.
