Foras na Gaeilge has made a limited fund available this year to support libraries around the country for the purpose of organising literary events with Irish language writers/ authors. A library may apply for support up to a maximum value of €500 for each Irish language event organised. The funding is provided to cover the writer/ author’s fee and travel expenses. A fee of no less than €200 should be paid to every author participating in an event. This fund is available for events directed at any and all age groups.
